Status and Recovery Development of Proso Millet Production in Yanan
In recent years, witth the implementation of the project of Grain for Green, the rapid development of oil economy and the rapid promotion of the apple and vegetables leading industries, the yield, scientific research, exploitation and planting area of proso millet has declined, and its research has stagnated. Therefore, we visited the main producing counties such as Baota, Wuqi, Zhidan, Ansai, Zichang and investigated the status of yield, scientific research and exploitation on proso millet and the problems; accessed to data and analyzed the advantages, necessity and market potential of proso millet; at last, came up with the proposed measures of proso millet industrial development in Yanan, in order to provide a reference for local agricultural development.
