Genetic Resources of Common Millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) at the Vavilov Research Institute of Plant Industry(VIR)

摘要：

VIRs millet collection has existed since 1909. Then in order to solve basic tasks of breeding practice in line with modern level of research development, a genetic collection of common millet is being established, which currently consists of 220 accessions with more than 40 identified genes. Its now an important role for conserving breeding and studying millet.
