Mathematical Relationships between Welding Stress and Strain and their Applications

INTRODUCTION Okerblom. N.O 1 believed that the welding stress and deformation to be very complicated. Recently, the finite element analysis of welding stress‐strain has very obvious progress and get more successful result. But, Radaj ?4? Pointed out that have difficulty in analyzing the welding residual stress and deformation even today by using super computer. A large amount of calculations are still needed by computer, and this is not available for most of the welding engineers and researchers.
