Experimental Study on the Gas Drainage Based on Parallel Boreholes with Large Diameter
Gas accidents today have become one of the major accidents that influences the safety of Chinese coal production.Aiming at the problem that gas outburst is very serious, gas drainage is mainly used at the working face to reduce the gas content. In order to better study the effects of the large diameter parallel boreholes technology, prevent the occurrence of the gas accidents, and reduce the casualties and property losses in the coal mines.Through the study on the spacing between the parallel boreholes, the author arranges 4 groups of parallel boreholes at Φ113 mm with the spacing at 4m, 6m, 8m and 10m in the same test roadway, and comprehensively investigates the effect of the boreholes gas drainage. The result showes that the pre - pumping effect of the spacing at 4m is better than any other spacing, and increasing the drilling density is conducive to improve the pre - pumping rate.So it determines the reasonable spacing of the parallel boreholes of the coal seam that contains the test roadway is 4m.
