Properties and Coal Accumulation of Manggou Fault in Muchengjian Mining Area, Jingxi

According to the disagreements of Manggou faults properties, using principles of structural geology and coal geology , by comprehensive analysis of drilling and mine geology information, reveals Manggou faults cause properties as well as its control effect to coal -accumulating.In whole the dip angle of Manggou fault shows steeper upper than lower, the fault throw shows larger upper than the lower, and the stratum thickness on two wall have apparent differences, based on these features, points out that Manggou fault is a syndepositional normal fault; the coal - accumulating of Manggou fault displays that: the hanging wall in the northwest of the fault accumulated thick cole seam, the footwall in the southeast of the fault universal accumulated thinner, destroied the continuity of the coal, and changed the coals occurrence as well as its covered depth.
