Numerical Simulation of Abutment Pressure Distribution of Large Dip Angle Stope

The differences between large dip angle seam and other dip angle seam in abutment pressure distribution are studied with the numerical simulation software of FLAC , in the light of No. 3237 working face in Zhaogezhuang Mine.The research results show that the value of the peak of the lead abutment pressure, the value of the remnant abutment pressure and the value of the goaf abutment pressure decline, the distance from the peak of the lead abutment pressure to the coal wall increases , the lead abutment pressure distribution along the dip of seam becomes more and more non - symmetric, when changing from gentle inclination and inclination to large dip angle; while changing from large dip angle to steep inclination, the results are just the opposite; The lead abutment pressure is almost in the middle and lower parts of the seam along the dip direction, when the dip angle reaches the upper limit of large dip angle (55°).
