An Overview of Physical and Hydrological Properties of Waste Rocks

摘要：

An understanding of the hydrology of mine waste dumps is important in predicting mine drainage quality and environmental pollution.Physical characteristics and deposition methods in the waste rock are important factors in water flow inside a pile.The determination of soil water characteristic curve (SWCC) and unsaturated soil hydraulic conductivity is also key parameters in water flow and solute transport in unsaturated zones like waste rocks.This paper aims to review the physical and hydrological properties of waste rock dumps.
