The Prediction and Evaluation of Yali Hydropowers Affect to the Geological Environment

The planning built Yali hydropower locates in Chupah county, Gia Lai province, Viet Nam, its function is providing electricity power as well as serving the agriculture and aquaculture of Gia Lai and Kom Turn province.Construction of the project can bring huge economical and social benefits, but it can also bring effect to the geological environment. In response to these issues, using square matrix and quantitative matrix methods, by properly determine geological environment elements and the major engineering activities that effect it, concludes that: the maxium activity of the hydropower to the geological environment are the construction of water storage dam and the operation of the hydropower station; its unfavorable effect mainly displays that flood land, the wash collapse and reconstruction degree of riverbank, and dam siltation, after the hydropowers built, we should strengthen the protect and control meature at the relevant aspects.
