Current Situation and Prospects of Detecting Position of Hidden Fire Source in Mining

The precisely detection of hidden fire source in coal mine area is the foundation of extinguishing mine fire effectively.In this article, current situation of technology of detecting the position of fire source in mined — out area is briefly described.The following ways are emphatically introduced; the infrared rays detecting method, the radon detecting method, the temperature detecting method, the magnetic detecting method, the numerical simulation method and the resistance detecting method.The advantages and shortcomings of these detecting technologies are analyzed.Furthermore, the direction of fire source detecting technology is also prospected.
