Effect of Ground Stress on Coal Seam Pressure Distribution by Shocking with High-pressure Air
As one of the important parameters effecting the gas extraction efficiency, the permeability of coal seam can be increased by shocking with high — pressure air which provids a technological support for low - gas — permeability coal seam.Basing on the percolation theory of porous media and combined with variation of air pressure as variation being shocked by high -pressure air, the gas pressure evolution owing to shocking the coal seam was simulated numerically by FEM software under different air pressure and different ground stress conditions. The numerical result shows that the change of strata pressure has some effect on the pressure distribution after shocking the coal seam with high - pressure air.
