Fire Prevention System for Island Coal Face Using Fully Mechanized Mining Caving Technique in High Sulfur-containing and Easily Spontaneous Combustion Seam

Coal spontaneous combustion is a difficult problem for an island coal face with fully mechanized mining caving technique in high sulfur - containing and easily spontaneous combustion seam.The 5110 coal face of Xinyu mine is taken as the research object. The optimization of spontaneous combustion prediction index gas is done.A three — dimensional fire prevention system is proposed, in which the integrated technology includes inhibitory solution injection into coal, thickening mud grouting, open region nitrogen foam injection and ventilation by even air pressure.The scheme is applied to the practical project successfully to prove its feasibility and effectiveness.As a result, in this method, a new idea has been used for coal spontaneous combustion prevention and control work of an island coal face in high sulfur - containing and easily spontaneous combustion seams in china.
