The Design and Development of a Collaborative Learning Platform Supported by Cloud Computing An Application in IT Course of Junior High School
The recent emergence of cloud computing has drastically altered everyone’s perception of infrastructure architectures, software delivery and development models.Cloud computing has greatly influenced the teaching and learning styles since it was introduced into the fields of education.Collaborative learning is a learning method which highlights students’ cooperating with each other.And it is adopted by the teachers as an efficient way to cultivate students’ communication ability.The aim of this paper is twofold: firstly to design and develop a collaborative learning platform supported by cloud computing, namely IT Course Collaborative Learning Platform and secondly to apply the platform into the teaching process of junior high school IT course.Our conclusion is the cloud computing platform can serve as a good media for junior high school students to learn information technology well.
