A Multi-Expert Knowledge Acquisition and Integration Approach to Supporting Content Design for Ubiquitous Learning
In this study, a ubiquitous learning content design system is proposed based on a multi-expert version of a knowledge acquisition method, namely EMCUD (Embedded Meaning Capturing and Uncertainty Deciding). In ubiquitous learning activities, learning targets are represented as objects with corresponding attributes. The learning content design system assists a group of teachers to collaboratively determine and describe the learning targets and the relationships between them by providing an object integration module, an attribute integration module, an attribute value integration module, and an Attribute-Ordering Table (AOT) integration module. The integrated information is deposited in a learning material database of a ubiquitous learning environment which enables students to learn in the real world with access to the supplementary digital learning content.
