70Web-Museums and Its Education Case Study In Mexico and China
The present paper gives a brief introduction of museums history and its relation with education.The concept of museum has changed a long history and its educative mission has been strengthened.It describes the museums needs that were found in the literature.It also mentions the advantages or possibilities that are inherent when museums are supported by ICTs.A description of two web- museums from two different countries will be provided in order to offer what is the museums tendency in two different parts of the world, Mexico, and China.For the Mexican case we will describe the National Museum of Anthropology.For the Chinese case we will describe the Beijing Capital Web-museum and its educative activities.
