Application of Tree Structure for Primary Disease detection for Automated Patient Admission System

Manual patient admission is a tedious, repetitive and error-prone system that is losing relevance in modern hospitals where computerized admission is replacing the older manual system. This paper proposes an automated Patient Admission System (PAdS) where a Tree Structure has been proposed for Primary Disease detection of a patient reporting at the hospital. The patient is admitted to the relevant Department corresponding to his disease using the tree structure.
