The Researches on Transformation and Upgrading of Service Industry in Yangtze River Delta Region
This paper is based on the analysis of the existing problems and current development status of the Service Industry in the Yangtze River Delta region, according to which, the service industry in this region has made great progress since the Reform and Opening-Up, but the percentage in the GDP is going up quite slowly. Theres long way to go for the acceleration of the Service Industry development in order to accomplish the industrial upgrading. Based on the above analysis, learned form the experience on how to advance the service industry of developed countries, the author suggests that the Yangtze River Delta region shall strength the regional advantage, increase the communications and co-operations with governments at all levels, take measures like developing Producer Services, speeding up the process of urbanization, deepening the opening-up policy of the Service Industry and so on to accelerate the industrial transformation and upgrading.
