Study on Adjustment of Income Distribution by the Chinese Social Security System
In recent years, with the rapid development of economy, the income of urban and rural residents has been improving continuously. But the phenomenon that the income gap among the members of the society is gradually expanded has caught the attention of the whole society. As a safety net and shock absorber, social security system has positive and negative adjusting effect in regulating income distribution and narrowing the income gap. Perfecting social security system so as to strengthen its positive effect and weaken the negative effect on income distribution has great significance for improving the present situation of income gap and promoting economic development and social harmony.
