Dilemmas and Strategy Choices of Sino-Russian Energy Cooperation
Sino-Russian energy cooperation has made a breakthrough progress, but there are also many constraints, such as the divergences of energy interest and role, strategic position of each other is not symmetric, and mutual mistrust. These constraints impact on Sino-Russian energy cooperation should not been underestimated, will even be dilemma of cooperation. Therefore, Russia and China should through making feasible energy cooperation long-term strategic plan, establishing political mutual trust and strengthening the government coordination and consultation, enriching cooperation type, deepening cooperation areas, actively participating in northeast Asia energy cooperation mechanism construction, to promote the further development of Sino-Russian energy cooperation.
