VMI Supply Chains Management based on Inventory Competitive Products
This paper discusses suppliers and retailers profit with inventory competitive products with special needs under the VMI supply chain. When there exist separation of decision-making power to the supply chain, the revenue maximization of all the members cant consistent with that of the whole supply chain. To solve the problems, this paper proposes costsharing contract to enhance the supply chains coordination and the Integrate competitiveness of the supply chain. In order to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of this contract model, a numerical example is designed. The analysis of example shows the suppliers are willing to provide more products while the retailers undertake a part of the suppliers product costs. Thus, the suppliers, the retailers and the whole supply chains profits will increase. The improvement of Pareto can be realized by the cost-sharing contract.
