Higher Education Students Loans Financing in Tanzania: Alternative Sources of Financing Higher Education Students’ Loan Scheme

摘要：

To be financially sustainable and be able to meet its operational and inadequacy financing challenges arising in due course of managing higher education students’ loans scheme in Tanzania, HESLB must find reliable alternative source of funds to support government resource envelope. This article assess various challenges and adequacy of government resource envelope, discuss various alternative sources of financing and its applicability in Tanzania and finally recommend the sources to be implemented in a view to ensure equitable and good quality education for the needy students.
