Study on the Effect Mechanism on Technical Efficiency after Financial Crisis — Based on Ownership Structure Perspective
Since 2011, the debt crisis in Europe intensified, the domestic inflation is stubbornly high, liquidity contraction, shadow banks, private lending and the IPO have wind up, making the development of city commercial banks quality paid attention by regulators and investors at all levels. This paper selected the top 12 city commercial banks as research sample, firstly measured the technical efficiency using the DEA method, and then used Tobit model to analyze the effect mechanism of ownership structure on the technical efficiency. The results show that: the average technical efficiency of city commercial banks in recent three years is 0.695, only 17% samples are technology effective; the proportion of state-owned shares have a negative impact on technical efficiency, the proportion of law-person shares have a positive impact, the ownership concentration has inverted U-shaped impact on technical efficiency.
