The Influence of Financial Development on High-tech Enterprise Performance in Development Zone —An empirical study of China’s 51 Development Zones

摘要：

The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the high-tech enterprises performance in development zones and its mother city’s financial development. Using related data with high-tech enterprises performance in the 51 national development zones and the financial development in its mother city during the period of 2003-2010 in China, establishing the individual fixed effects model, this study shows that financial development efficiency has a significantly positive impact on high-tech enterprise performance in development zone; While, the scale of financial development has non statistically significantly influence on enterprise performance. Finally there exists significant difference among high-tech enterprises performance in the 51 development zones.
