The Study of the Relation between Tourism Industry and Economy Growth in Shandong Province
In this paper, the author uses econometric model analysis (Stationarity Test, Co-integration Test, Granger Causality Test) to research the relationship between the foreign exchange earnings of Shandong tourism industry and economic growth. The results show that this is a long term stable and positive relationship between foreign exchange earnings of Shandong tourism industry and economic growth. Granger causality shows the economic growth in Shandong can lead to the development of tourism industry, however, the development of tourism industry can not lead to the growth of economic. Finally, this paper gives a series of suggestions on promoting the development of tourism industry.
