SWOT Analysis on FDI Attraction into National Comprehensive Reform Experimental Zone in Shanxi Resource-based Economy

摘要：

In order to make full use of FDI to promote the resource-based economy transition in Shanxi, The author tries to make a SWOT analysis on the internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats of Shanxi in attracting FDI. As far as Shanxi is concerned, the advantages are not prominent while the disadvantages are obvious and there are some external threats. Therefore the author holds that the optimal strategy for Shanxi is the combination of W (Weaknesses) and O (Opportunities). That is to take full advantage of the external opportunities to eliminate the internal weaknesses and try to transform these weaknesses to new strengths.
