Robust H infinity Control of Networked Control Systems with Randomly Varying Delay and Missing Measurements

The paper investigates the problem for a class of uncertain networked control systems with randomly varying delay and missing measurements. The parameter uncertainties are norm-bounded and enter into all the system matrices, the delay is assumed to be random and its probability distribution is known a priori, missing measurements are described by a binary switching sequence that obeys a conditional probability distribution. Compared with the existing references, the model for NCSs proposed in this paper is more general and practical. The H infinity performance analysis is carried out and a memoryless H infinity controller is designed to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system in the mean square for the zero disturbance input and also achieves a prescribed H infinity performance level, delay-distribution-dependent stability criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities which can be readily solved by using the LMI toolbox in Matlab. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
