Launch Vehicle Pitch Control via GPI Observer-based Sliding Mode Technique
This paper proposes a sliding mode control method, which is combined with the generalized proportional-integral (GPI) observer. The GPI observer has been proved to be asymptotically convergent. The GPI observer-based sliding mode control can eliminate the chattering which is the drawback of the sliding mode control. The stability analysis of the present method is given in this paper. The disturbance rejection capability of the proposed method ensures quickly reference trajectory tracking. The obtained results are exemplified through simulations of a nonlinear system and a launch vehicle application.
