Error Correction Research of Colorimetric Temperature-measurement Based on CCD

Colorimetric temperature-measurement technology based on CCD is an important method in high temperature detection field. The main error sources caused by the detection method because the emission rate of the object will be change with radiation wavelengths and CCD spectrum response characteristics are non-ideal. Analyzing the colorimetric temperature measuring principle and CCD imaging theory, it is given in colorimetric temperature-measurement formula including correction factor of emission rate and CCD bandwidth response. The algorithm can reduce measurement error caused by the CCD spectrum response characteristics of ideal and the change emission rate. In this paper, it is proposed that correction factor a, b of CCD response bandwidth based on blackbody furnace, correction factor c of calibration emission rate based on blackbody furnace experiment. Experimental results show that this method can effectively decrease temperature-measurement error.The experimental results proved that the temperature-measurement system is accurate, efficient and can be widely used in the high temperature measurement of coal, steel, metallurgy industry etc.
