A New Delay-dependent Stabilization Method for Networked Control Systems

This paper revisits the state feedback stabilization problem for a class of discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs), where both time delays and packet losses are simultaneously considered. By constructing a proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and by employing the free-weighting matrices technique, a new delay-dependent stability condition is presented for the resulting closed-loop system. Based on the obtained stability condition, the corresponding stabilizing controller design method is also proposed, where Cone complementarity linearization (CCL) approach is used and a feasible solution can be obtained by solving a minimization problem in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
