PERFORMANCE DESIGN OPTIMIZATION AND APPLICATION FOR TALL BUILDING STRUCTURES UNDER LATERAL LOADS
The automatic optimization technique and its application are presented in this paper.This technique has its ability in automatically adjusting the stiffness of structural members and in simultaneously considering wind-induced responses and earthquake responses to produce an optimal design while satisfying all specified drift performance criteria.
