The Optimization Design in the Axial Force Element of Wind Tunnel Balance
In this paper, an internal wind tunnel balance is optimized by finite element analysis.The precision of the axial force measurement depends on the sensitivity and Signal Noise ratio of axial force element.The sensitivity of axial force element depends on the element dimension itself and its arrangement, Signal Noise ratio means the ratio of sensitivity and the interference from other components.These influenced by the configuration of the balance and the coherence of rated load range.Improving the precision of the axial force measurement is very useful especially to the developing of a new aircraft.This paper trying to find an optimum design of the axial force elements to improving the precision of the axial force measurement while the rigidity and strength of the balance are invariable.
