Exponential Stability of Switched Fuzzy Systems with time-delay

Average dwell time technique is an effective tool to study switched systems, but which has not been yet applied to study switched fuzzy delay systems. This paper deals with the problem of exponential stability for switched fuzzy systems based on this method. First, a model of a kind of uncertain switched fuzzy systems is presented, in which each subsystem is an uncertain fuzzy system. Then, based on Lyapunov functional candidate and average dwell time scheme, linear matrix inequalities’ (LMIs’) conditions are presented to guarantee robust exponential stability of the switched fuzzy delay systems. The exponential decay estimate for state is also explicitly developed. At last, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
