Adaptive Generalized Backstepping Control of Hypersonic Vehicles with Integral Filter
An adaptive generalized backstepping controller with integral filter is designed for the air-breathing hypersonic vehicle model. Since the model is highly coupled, nonlinear, multivariable and uncertain, the backstepping control strategy is used to realize the stable tracking of velocity and altitude reference. The canard deflection is added to counteract the coupled relation between the lift force and the elevator deflection. The adaptive rule based on Lyapunov theory is adopted to guarantee stability. For solving the problem of “the explosion of terms, an integral filter is introduced. The simulation results show the power of this controller.
