Analysis on the increment of urban infrastructure investment and urban population based on Black-Scholes Formula
The correspondence between urban population and resources is related to the future development of a country. This paper uses Black-Scholes formula estimating the current investment for the increment of urban infrastructure with respect to the population beyond expectation in a near future. By tests, changes in urban population obey log-normal distribution and assumptions for Black-Scholes formula are suitable to be extended. The empirical analysis predicts the current increment investment for urban infrastructure to satisfy the need of the last year of China the Twelfth Five-year Plan, which can provide policy and quantitative reference for the government and other investors.
