An Analysis on Undergraduate Truancy from the Perspective of Market Trade
It is regarded as a form of market trading for the students paying tuition and listening to teachers lectures at college in this paper, analyzing whether students should skip classes and how to adjust their behavior. Although truancy meets students goal of utility maximization just at that time, it tends to damage the interests of their principals. For the management of skipping classes, the problems of information asymmetry and unilateral monopoly should be solved.
