Thinking on Harmonious and Teaching
Harmonious teaching is refers to the basic elements of teaching are harmonious. In other words, the basic elements of teaching, including teachers, students, and teaching material, form a mutually harmonious relationship in order to achieve optimization of teaching, improve the efficiency of teaching. First and foremost, harmonious teaching is a teaching thought; second, it is a dynamic process; furthermore, it is the purpose of teaching. In the How We Think, Dewey expound his harmonious teaching views from the harmonious unification of school subjects, the harmonious unification of teaching and learning, collective teaching and individual teaching of harmony, unity of thought training on the several relationships. If we carry forward the harmonious teaching views in teaching, we can prevent the pendulum phenomenon in the teaching, and to prevent the deal with the problem of one-sided and extreme.
