An Improved Channel Estimation Method for OFDM Systems
This paper studies on the estimation problem of wireless channel in the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). It, on the basis of the commonly used equivalent discrete channel and actual channel model-based parametric channel estimation algorithm, uses the parametric channel model of the FTCA to make channel estimation to solve the leaks caused by channel impulse response (CIR) in actual system. However, this FTCA-based channel estimation algorithm is an approximate orthogonal calculation. It will not work properly on the reduction of the pilot frequency. Such issue of requiring excessive pilot frequency has been solved in this paper. The performance of the channel estimation wouldnt be declined much when it adopts less pilot frequency, so that to improve its application efficiency.
