OFDM Channel Estimation Improvement Algorithm for Comb-type Pilot

In order to improve the channel estimation accuracy of OFDM, its a good way to apply the channel model of FTCA for channel estimation. However, the FTCAbased channel estimation algorithm needs too many known conditions, it causes a poor practicability. This paper presents more practical MMSE criterionbased channel estimation algorithm on the basis of comb-type pilot, it firstly obtains LMMSE channel estimation of the pilot frequency position, and then use FTCA transform to obtain the channel transfer function of all subcarriers. The experiment proved that the algorithm achieves a performance close to LMMSE algorithm and improves the spectrum efficiency of the system.
