Traffic Optimization between Clients of P2P Video System
System based on P2P network is characterized by users can share resources and services, its core technology is a resource location mechanism, which is the key to improve the scalability of P2P systems and solve the problem of network bandwidth being swallowed. Present both structured or unstructured P2P systems, are only considered in the application layer connections between nodes, the nodes to organizations and find resources, without considering the status of the physical link status, the node in the logical topology is adjacent, but the physical link is very far apart, sometimes even across multiple ISP. The unreasonable routing between peer nodes and the random city of resources location resulting in the loss of network performance and unnecessary crossdomain traffic. Analysis of P2P traffic characteristics of video systems is proposed based on the physical link quality measurement mechanism; users can ensure smooth viewing under the premise of minimizing unnecessary cross-domain traffic.
