Cluster method for Hourly Water Consumption Profiles

In order to discuss the consecutive profiles with mathematic tools, they should be cluster. As the shortcomings of traditional fuzzy C-means (FCM) algorithm to cluster diurnal demand profile, an improved fuzzy C-means algorithm with a new object function was proposed which is suitable for clustering profile. In this study, the results overcome the shortcomings of FCM algorithm for deciding cluster number, a improved method to restrict cluster error is proposed and the simulation results? .
