Research on the access utilizing the by-products for simultaneous purification NOx&SO2 in bio-trickling towers

Investigation of using the liquid by-products of the process for simultaneous NOx&SO2 purification in biotrickling towers to leach oxide copper ore and to synthesize fertilizers was conducted respectively. Through the operation of leaching the oxide ore sample containing 2.58% copper with the acidic liquid, the effective grade of the material to be extracted was 28.37% by weight. Adding proportional dose of ammonia into the alkalescent or acidic liquid and going through evaporation and concentration processes crystal products of ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate were generated, which can be used in fertilizer manufacturing. These proved two feasible accesses for the utilization of by-products of the flue gas desulfurization and denitrogenation with bio-trickling filter.
