Construction analysis on the super large and deep excavation protection design of Wangjing Soho foundation in Beijing
this article is introduce to the super large and deep foundation pit project called Wangjin Soho Building, which will be the landmark in Wangjing area, the 2nd CBD in Beijing. 11.5×104m2 in land area, 22.75m in depth, 1055m in total perimeter, this octagon pit is feature with long side with obtuse angle concaved to soil burden. So this item show difficulty in space dimensions, complexity in shape and mechanics, geological and hydrology,. boundary with high buildings, etc. however, this project has been creatively designed. In the aspect of supporting, compound soil nail, pile and anchor technology are accepted, according to the principle of space effect, reinforced pile and anchor are taken into consideration, and the 2nd anchor beam in depth is combined with concrete linking beam, forming enclosed linking system, together with strength in angles, to produce powerful support effect in system. In the aspect of dealing of underground water, anti-seepage wall suspending ground enclosed in whole pit area, supplemented by trenches and wells to dewater to meet the need of deep tower pit or special area, this measurement not only comply with code for dewater limit in Beijing, but also assure the safety of construction, speed up procedure; In the aspect of management and organization, flow process is implanted, in which the area and depth is divided by sections, construction activity is well organized and controlled with complete technique and deep consideration. Thus this super bigger foundation pit engineering is smoothly completed in safety, time, and economic efficiency.
