Privacy Preserving Detection for Preference Outlier in Social Networking Services
Privacy plays an important role in blocking the development of social networking services, especially when strangers want to join hands for interest. A typical outlier detection algorithm doesnt suit for the application in social network model, and there is no special secure solution for this case. In this paper, a privacy preserving protocol is devised to detect preference outlier by the help of secure sum protocol and secret comparison protocol. It makes the final decision for whether a user is proper for the preference interest group without leaking privacy. Meanwhile, detailed analyses about complexity and security are presented.
