Removal of formaldehyde from indoor air by Plasma and Ag/CeO2 Catalyst
Formaldehyde is a major indoor air pollutant and it is able to cause serious health disorders in residents. It has been proved that the formaldehyde destruction shows a higher efficiency when packed with Ag/CeO2 catalyst than when packed with others. In this article, the analysis of the effects of the concentration of HCHO, O2, and H2O on HCHO conversion are presented respectively. It shows that HCHO removal efficiency decrease with increasing inlet HCHO concentration and decreasing input discharge energy.
