Research on Urban Constructing History and Urban Planning Thoughts of Modern Nantong

摘要：

Nantong is entitled as the pioneering city of modern China by Mr. Liangyong Wu. Its constructing history and urban planning thoughts are of high research value. This paper explores the constructing history of Nantong, focusing on its planning and construction of recent times. It also concludes the planner Jian Zhangs advanced planning thoughts such as the idea of human-oriented, harmonious development between human and nature into the one.
