Study of Advanced Treatment of Formaldehyde Wastewater by Fenton Oxidation

The advanced treatment of formaldehyde wastewater by Fenton oxidation was studied. The results showed that organic matters in formaldehyde wastewater could be removed effectively by Fenton oxidation. The influence of several operational ariables-including the ratio, dosage of Fe2+ and H2O2, temperature, pH and reaction time was investigated for the degradation of a 150mg/L formaldehyde wastewater.
