Study on the Relationship between Effective Temperature of Concrete Box Girder and Environmental Temperature
This Temperature of concrete box girder is influenced by many climate factors, such as environmental temperature, wind speed, solar radiation and so on. Based on measured temperature of auxiliary shipping channel bridge of the Sutong bridge, the relationship between effective temperature of concrete box girder and environmental temperature was analyzed, and the results show that there is a good correlation among them. Methods for predicting the extreme value of the effective temperature and box-girder air temperature were proposed by use of the average atmospheric temperature for the current and previous 2 days. Then, a comparison between predictive value and observation results was made and it shows that the relationship is quite useful in predicting the extreme value of the effective temperature and air temperature inside box girder.
