Taiyuan South Station Umbrella-span Steel Truss Roof of the Static and Dynamic Analysis
In this paper, the umbrella-shape steel truss roof of a newly-built railway station is studied. In application of the finite element software MIDAS, the stress status of components, deformation of elements and seismic performance of the structure are analyzed. It is mainly demonstrated in this paper about static analysis of different load conditions, calculations of dynamic characteristics of the structure, analysis of the natural frequencies and mode shapes, and the research of seismic resistant performance by modal response method and the elastic time-history analysis.
