The Force Analysis and Calculation of Squeezed Branch Pile
By analyzing the structure type and work properties of squeezed branch pile, to research the force characteristic of pile. Based on several assumptions, also with the help of theories from the material mechanic, soil mechanic and foundation engineering, the internal force calculation formula of squeezed branch pile is deduced and the method to determine the pile buried depth below the bottom of foundation pit and distribution of moment is suggested. According to the force equilibrium equations, the calculating formula of the horizontal displacement of the pile top was obtained.Through the comparison of calculated theoretical value with measured value from engineering tests,the correctness of formula was proved, providing the primary calculating design theory for engineering application of squeezed branch pile.
