Application research on wavelet de-noising in the cable force measurement

When using vibration method to monitor cable force long-term online, the key is to extract each frequency order from weak and high-noise random signal precisely. So a new method is presented that wavelet de-noising is processing in original signal before converting stay cable vibration signal into Fourier transform. Under the environment of LabVIEW, calling Matlab wavelet analysis algorithm to reduce disturbance of noise makes de-noised signal more close to stay cable vibration signal, and the measurement accuracy of the cable force can be improved. The result shows that the accuracy and precision of each frequency order after wavelet denoising is promoted greatly.
