Different Grade Rocky Desertification ArcGIS Thematic Map Symbol Color Design and Research
The rocky desertification(RD) atlas making has many problems including various forms, different color, all departments establishes their own system since the development of integrated treatment pilot project of the state rock desertification through applying the related theories and techniques about karst ecoenvironment, cartography, color science, and so on. The mathematics color model of RD is constituted, which is based on coupled relation of color has indicative significance to the environment sensibility and RD rank system according to principle of symbolic color scheme. And the color of thematic map symbol of different grade RD is scientifically and rationally designed under the platform of ArcGIS. It turns out that the tricolor of RGB is used to point out the ecoenvironment sensibility of RD which is feasible, and it has hign associativity, the related coefficient reaches up to 0.74. Secondly, the degree of RD represents the indicatory significance function of RGB. Compared with the increasing of RD degree, numerical value R appears direct proportion relation, the numerical value G appears inverse proportion, and the numerical value B appears on a nomal distribution change. Thirdly, the good effect through the instance analysis, which can provide scientific basis and directions about integrated treatment of RD.
